Barry is a classically trained guitarist. He caught the guitar "bug" when he was 8 years old, after seeing the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. After playing in a variety of "garage" bands in his teen years, Barry toured with two Regional Bands before honing his skills as a session guitarist. After a 12 year sabbatical from music, Barry reemerged with a backlog of material and formed an original recording project (Never Monday). Barry has played in a number of bands and projects such as: Wednesday's Child, Woes, Wet Betty, Beer Solves Everything and CTS, but his first love has always been the music of the Beatles. As he puts it, "This is a dream gig, because I get to play the music I grew up with and love without being restricted to a note for note interpretation of the Fab Four. We can take the music anywhere we feel inspired to go, and that's a good thing!"
Barry plays Gibson, Rickenbacker and Gretsch Guitars thru Vox AC30TB Amplifiers.
Rob started playing the bass in 1974 in a rather unorthodox way. Instead of learning the instrument by trial and error, Robert started with the first Beatles record and learned McCartney's style note for note on his own. He has seen Mc Cartney perform at least 20 times over the past 10 years and has memorized exactly how Paul plays the bass. In 1998, Robert had the additional priveledge of being George Martin's bodyguard during Mr. Martin's promotion of "The Making of Sgt. Pepper". Robert has become known as Revolve's resident "Beatles" Historian.
Robert plays Fender Basses and uses Yamaha Amps.
